Born in the big city, hiding away under the live oaks in the hills of Mississippi. Craig and Renee Maloney took a leap of faith moving away from the hustle and bustle of city life to pursue the ultimate entrepreneurial challenge, the dream of a family ranch; Returning the ranch to a natural way of land management.

TROY BUTLER
The man, the myth, the legend. Troy is the reason this whole clock ticks!
Not easily captured in a photo (especially with a grin), this man works to the bone. From post hole digging, to diesel mechanic-ing, from seed drilling, to finish trim work; this man could start his own hardware store with the tools in his box and his own apparel line for the hats he switches out by the hour.
When asked his favorite part of the job Troy says "HUMH" and that just about says it all. Though he doesn't express it often, we all know this man as a caring and meticulous craftsman dedicated to the life on a ranch.
"CAPTAIN"
GENE HICKMAN
"AHHH BRAH" Captain Gene says when he sees ya with a big ol' smile. Always quick with a joke, last time we saw him he had been just been "promoted to branch manager", said he'd "been picking em up for two weeks."
No one quite knows where el cap sneaks off to, but he gets his work done and is always happy to help with whatever ails ya!
Favorite part of the job, without even having to ask - the animals! And speaking on behalf of the animals, Gene is their favorite too.

BOBBY & BONNY
Bobby and Bonny purchased Creekside Ranch in January of 1994. Bobby wanted a place away from the city with a creek to unwind and be close to nature. Bonny wanted a yard to plant a variety of wonderful blooming and exotic plants. They both wanted a place for grand kids to gather and retreat into nature.
Their vision has certainly become a reality and so much more, we will never take for granted what truly started with them.
